Art Scott, an Ohio native, seemingly, has been involved in the construction industry his entire life. Starting at 8 years old, his father began including him with various tradesman tasks, giving him hand-on experience. In Ohio, Art naturally transitioned into carpentry and in 2005, upon relocating to south Florida, he began working in a supervisory capacity and further expanded his repertoire. Now, with nearly 20 years of field experience, he has a well-rounded knowledge of many areas of field work. His leadership and managerial skills have made him an asset to our field operations management team, as he oversees the operations of nearly 20 field workers and numerous jobs. Art’s ability to communicate with all people, in all positions, gives him an advantage in working through various issues and conflicts that arise on the job. He, also, holds a Certified Building Contractors license in FL and uses this knowledge, daily. He attended Kent State University and completed his Bachelor’s degree in FL at Southwest Florida College. Art joined the Lee Drywall team in May 2017 and continues to be a strong addition to our team. In his spare time, Art enjoys fishing, chasing around his 3 kids and Swenson’s burgers.
