Safety Director
Mr. Thompson has been a safety professional for more than 34 years and is currently a Certified Safety Executive with the World Safety Organization (WSO). His principal area of expertise lies in construction safety and he has worked on multiple high-profile projects across the country.
In 2013, he was awarded the Environmental/Occupational Safety Person of the Year by the World Safety Organization and was the youngest person awarded the title of Professional Associate in Construction Safety, by the engineering/construction management firm of Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc. He has also received accolades from several prestigious organizations, including the Business Roundtable, American Heart Association, the University of Hawaii and Brigham Young University.
He currently holds an AS degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, is a graduate of the Safety Management Academy at Clemson University, holds an Advanced Certificate in Safety and Health from California State University and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the World Safety Organization, where he is certified as a Safety Executive.
